The Elantra has a rich and storied history as one of the most iconic compact sedans out there. Over the years, Hyundai’s upgrades to it have been smart and strategic, bringing something new to the table with each iteration. And while they’ve stacked on must-have features and tech with every model, the price has always been extremely competitive for the market, making it an absolute steal in its category.
While the 2025 Elantra isn’t out yet, we’ll tell you all about the speculation so far and what we’re expecting from one of Hyundai’s bestsellers. If you’re a fan of the Elantra and are thinking about buying the new model, sign up for our waitlist form at the bottom of this page, so you’re the first to get your hands on the 2025 Elantra, as soon as it becomes available.
And if you don’t want to wait for the new Elantra, we’d highly recommend a new 2025 Hyundai Tucson for sale in High Point and the surrounding areas. The reviews for it so far have been stellar.
We’re expecting a Fall 2024 release, so not too long to go now! (Don’t forget to sign up for that waitlist form!)
You can compare the Elantra to cars such as the Honda Civic, the Toyota Corolla, the Mazda3, the Volkswagen Jetta, or the Nissan Sentra. And while the compact sedan category might be brimming with options, we believe the Elantra very much holds its own against competition, especially when it comes to affordability. When you compare features to some of the other models, their price often feels like highway robbery!
Within the Hyundai family, if you were keen on a larger sedan, we’d recommend a new Hyundai Sonata for sale in High Point and the surrounding areas. It’s roomier without being super pricey.
Since the 2024 Elantra had some major changes, we’re expecting the 2025 version to be a carryover model, with a few tweaks here and there. While the price will stay competitive, we’re expecting some minor tech upgrades and variations in trim models, including more choices in accent colors and exteriors. The SEL trim will become the SEL Sport, and also be available for purchase on Elantra’s hybrid platform.
We’re expecting performance to be unchanged for this iteration. Of course, as rollout day gets closer, some of these specs are subject to change, so take this information with a grain of salt.
Like its predecessor, we’re expecting the Elantra to carry a 2L 4-cylinder engine that generates 147 hp and 132 lb. ft. of torque. This should offer an EPA-estimated 33 MPG in the city and 42 MPG on the highway.
