2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Release Date
Hyundai is making some drastic changes to the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe that begin with the rebadging of the vehicle, no longer will there be a Santa Fe Sport and Hyundai is also introducing a Hyundai Santa FE XL for the 2019 model year. The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe will take the place of the Santa Fe Sport and the Hyundai Santa Fe will be rebranded as the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL, the 2019 Santa Fe will also be available in a diesel model as well. These name and branding changes are in line with Hyundai’s efforts to release eight new or newly redesigned Crossover Utility Vehicles by the 2020 model year. New Specs & Features
For the 2019 model year, the Hyundai Santa Fe, previously the Santa Fe Sport, will be longer, wider and have a larger wheelbase than the 2018 Santa Fe Sport did. The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe is also larger on the interior as well, with more total Passenger Volume, Legroom, and overall Cargo Volume than the 2018 Santa Fe Sport had as well. Under the hood the 2019 Santa Fe will have three engine options, a standard 2.4L Inline 4-Cylinder will provide 185 horsepower, an available Turbocharged 2.0L 4-Cylinder delivers 232 horsepower, and finally, the 2.2L CRDi Turbodiesel engine cranks out 200 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. All three of these engine options pair with a new 8-Speed Automatic Transmission for smoother and quicker shifting through gears as well as better overall fuel economy. The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe will also have the option of an HTRAC® All-Wheel Drive (AWD) System with multi-mode select. Choose between Normal, Sport, and Smart modes to help you find the right mix of power and fuel efficiency for all road and weather conditions. On the interior, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe gets a standard 7” user interface with Android Auto™ & Apple CarPlay™ and an available 12-Speaker Infinity stereo system.
